Within the scope of DIGITAL TÜRKİYE Project, conducted under the coordination of the Ministry of Industry and Technology, the first study visit to Germany was organised between 4-8 May 2026. Within the scope of the DIGITAL TÜRKİYE Project, visits were made to the cities of Stuttgart, Karlsruhe, Heilbronn and Munich.
Within the programme, visits were carried out to Fraunhofer IAO, Fraunhofer Group for Innovation Research, KI Studios, EDIH HPC-DA, the Ministry of Economic Affairs, Labour and Tourism of Baden-Württemberg, Allianz Industrie 4.0, PTKA (Project Management Agency Karlsruhe), FESTO, ARENA2036, Bildungscampus Heilbronn, IPAI – Innovation Park Artificial Intelligence, KODIS, HNFIZ, TUM-MIRMI (Munich Institute of Robotics and Machine Intelligence), Training Center for Robotics-Physical AI, Urban Innovation and acatech – National Academy of Science and Engineering of Germany.
During the programme, digital transformation, Industry 4.0, production technologies, artificial intelligence, robotics, digital infrastructures, innovation ecosystems, research and development processes, and industrial support mechanisms were discussed. In particular, information was obtained regarding the activities carried out within Fraunhofer IAO, FESTO, ARENA2036 and TUM-MIRMI, while Germany’s digital transformation ecosystem was examined on site.
The programme concluded with the closing meeting held at the Fraunhofer Headquarters. The DIGITAL TÜRKİYE Project Germany Study Visit is expected to contribute to Türkiye’s digital transformation processes in the manufacturing industry and support cooperation among institutions.
