The 2nd Awareness Raising Seminar, organised within the Technical Assistance for Support for the Digital Transformation of Manufacturing Industry (DIGITALTR) Project, was held on 30 July 2026 at the İHKİB Digital Transformation Center (İHKİB DDM). The event brought together representatives of the manufacturing industry, digital transformation experts, technology providers and project stakeholders to explore the support opportunities offered under the DIGITALTR Project and its Open Call for Applications.

The seminar opened with remarks and a project assessment by Emre Dabak, Deputy Director General for National Technology and Artificial Intelligence at the Ministry of Industry and Technology. The programme continued with a detailed introduction to the DIGITALTR Open Call for Applications, including the services available to enterprises: Digital Maturity Assessment, Digital Transformation Consultancy, Testing & Verification, and Joint Technology Solution Development. Participants were also informed about enterprise eligibility criteria, application requirements, implementation timelines, key deadlines and guidance for preparing a strong application.

The panel discussion explored how companies can benefit from digital transformation services through best practices, success stories and lessons learned from İHKİB DDM. The panel brought together Davut Şadoğlu, Director of İHKİB DDM; Oğuz Han Emektar, Senior Digital Transformation Expert at Bolero Çorap; and İlker Hacıoğlu, OPEX Specialist at Fetih Tekstil, and was moderated by Özlem Güneş, Deputy Secretary General of İTKİB.

During the dedicated Q&A session, participants had the opportunity to discuss application requirements and access to project services directly with project experts. The programme continued with a guided tour of İHKİB DDM, service corners, networking and B2B matchmaking with CSP Centres, enabling potential beneficiaries to explore available services, establish direct contacts and identify potential opportunities for future cooperation.
