Thanks to a virtual reality-based training solution developed in collaboration with METU-DTX, Cavo began providing employees with safe, standardised training without interrupting production. VR technology enabled employees to experience machine operations in a risk-free environment, accelerating training, increasing operational efficiency and reducing errors. The project marked an important milestone in the company’s digital transformation journey.

As part of digital transformation activities undertaken in collaboration with METU-DTX, IHI Dalgakıran transitioned to a data-driven and integrated operating model. The digital backbone developed increased process traceability, reduced manual operations, strengthened interdepartmental coordination and enabled data-driven decision-making.
